MANCHESTER CHILDREN'S HOMES GROUP ACTION (No. 2)

The Manchester Children's Homes Group Action included anyone who alleged abuse while living in a Manchester City Council-managed or regulated children's home. Rosehill, Broomehouse, Mobberley, Lynwood, and Ellerslie are homes which have arisen commonly though there are other similar institutions.

This is the second Group Action that my previous firm, Abney Garsden McDonald conducted. The first Group Action began in 2001 and ended in 2007. This second Group Action began in 2008 and is now complete.

THE CUT OFF DATE WAS SET AT MAY 7TH, 2014.

- Prior to that date, any Claimant wishing to join the Group must have filed Legal Proceedings.

As a result, any new cases outside of the Group must survive or fail on their own merits.
